THE HISTORY OF CADMILL
Behind CADmill stands a multitude of technology enthusiasts. Among them are us, the company founders Franklin Cannizzaro and Deniz Ciftci. We are connected not only by our jointly founded company but also by our shared childhood.
After school, we initially went separate ways – one led to a Capuchin monastery in northern Italy for goldsmith training, and the other into the world of business administration. Despite the different paths, they crossed again a few years later. We quickly discovered a newly developed commonality: our enthusiasm for innovative technology. To turn this enthusiasm into our job, we founded CADmill in 2009.
We owe our business success, among other things, to our friendly relationship with Prof. Jef van der Zel – a pioneer in the field of digital manufacturing processes in dental technology. Through him, we built our company not only on a foundation of expert knowledge but also on the commitment to always keep an eye on the latest innovations and insights. To meet this commitment, we gradually expanded our company's technical portfolio with more modern milling machines and 3D printers. Today, Selective Laser Melting (SLM) and hybrid manufacturing are also part of CADmill's service offerings.
