3D PRINTING IN DENTAL TECHNOLOGY
Compared to casting or milling, additive manufacturing of dental solutions using 3D printing offers various advantages. 3D printing is free from harmful emissions, as no monomer vapors are released. Additionally, the creation of an initial plaster model during intraoral data collection becomes unnecessary. Particularly, the time and material savings make 3D printing popular in dental laboratories – the production of dental products is often more than twice as fast compared to traditional methods. Moreover, the printed model can be reproduced at any time.
Materials Used
